I have a Motorola Astro 'Clean Cab' locomotive radio in need of repair from a small shortline and hoping someone here can point me to a shop that would be able to work on it. I do know this radio is long out of production.

Issue is somewhat simple but beyond what I am capable of repairing. It has a audio amp issue where you turn up the volume past a low level the speaker makes horrid, distorted sounds. Low volume is OK, but using it at levels needed for in-cab use is not possible.

Any and all suggestions welcome.
