There are rumors that King and Snohomish County maybe encrypting police communications with their new P25 systems after they are installed. Thanks for nothing Motorola.

This is nothing new. I reported this back in July. Motorola had nothing to do with this as it was decided by SNO911 board members. If you want to blame it on something, blame it on internet streaming of radio traffic.

It is more like the Police do not want to be Transparent anymore. Like the Snohomish County Deputy who was having sex in his patrol car while on duty. He was caught because someone heard him because of a open Microphone.
