Yes HTTP will work. But I try to avoid that whenever possible due to some of the shady places I hang out at.. My laptop can now connect back through my own network via VPN so maybe I wont worry. But I cannot reach any of my customer firewalls anymore even over VPN's with Firefox. "Certificate key usage inadequate for attempted operation" Guess Im going with Chrome nowadays. |

Understood. Even weak encryption is better than none at all. Speaking of security issues you might be better off with Chromium than knockoff products like Chrome as the original code doesn't (well at least shouldn't) include spyware. Chromium has fewer included extensions but its never been an issue for me. |

Im much happier with my field endeavors being routed through my primary connection here.. At least I can surf my email in the field now from anywhere without worry. Freakin hotel wifi! |

And... then they do this. Forcing their own choice of DNS on the browser no matter what you have your network set to use.. https://blog.mozilla.org/futurereleases ... e-default/ Mozilla.. Leave my DNS alone! |
