I'm trying to make a general scan list for traveling to unknown/non-specific areas. So far I have FRS, GMRS, MURS, National Interoperability, Common Federal, Common Business and LERN.

Is there anything else I should consider for my list or that I'm missing?

Are you a licensed GMRS user? We have a G-8 repeater on Mission Ridge and a G-3 repeater here in Moses Lake.

I heard that also. It was on 462.675 MHz. Someone from South Seattle Community College doing field day activities was talking to someone in Discovery Bay on HWY 101. I know that Seattle ACS have 4 GMRS repeaters https://seattleacs.org/about/repeaters/

Nice list Jim. Anyway to get that list without the place number at the beginning so I can cut and paste into the radio. Thx

Thanks for the list Jim. Along with creating a list for travel, I'm also making a list for State/Puget Sound Area. So far I got WSF, Local county SAR, State DNR, State interopt, BNSF Mainline channels, News and EAS link. Anything else that I should consider?
