Saw this tonight on Trunk88, anyone know what it is? I know that radio, and the only user-serviceable options are programming scanlists.

An that request would come from where? The dispatcher can't do it, the radio tech was off duty, and the portables come up "invalid talkgroup" when you go to the regroup channel.

I have, on all the PD radios and a bunch of the FD radios...selecting that channel gets you a steady bonk tone (like out-of-range) and nothing on the PTT. Trunk88 likes to show it as Invalid TGID.
====================

I think I've figured out the issue anyhow. I'm getting errors somewhere in the T88 files. I noticed tonight I'm getting interconnects when there do not, in fact, exist any interconnects (that was pulled from the system 4 years ago), occasionally a "new" TGID pops up when it doesn't actually exist, etc.

Are you using the CC dump on your 500? What's the signal strength of the CC?

I've been rotating T88 duties amongst the PSR500 and both of the 325p2's. Regardless of the radio, I generally run between 99.7 and 100% decode rates.

I've seen similar issues with T88. I've seen it on EPSCA and SERS, though almost all the time they run just fine. Some option in the system file gets the wrong value and the program decodes normal traffic as the interconnect grants.

PTT in the regroup channel gets "invalid talkgroup" and the phone patch gets "resource not available".
