Nearly every night around 11pm I hear some fellow on the K7LED repeater (and other repeaters) occasionally. He sings and screams and overdrives his mike. I have to skip the channel to keep from getting creeped out. A couple nights ago I thought I heard a couple of hams say "We got him." But last night he was back on the air. Anyone have some back story? At least on the 147.435 repeater in LA you got some good discussions now and then amidst all the unlicensed noise...

Hard to believe, but maybe no one here heard it or does goonbusting for M&K.

I personally don't get the craziness that goes on on 3.840MHz

Man, the 435 repeater has its share of colorful characters. There always seems to be some ongoing feud on there. Guess it keeps all the crazies off the other repeaters.

Last time I was in LA that .435 was great for learning where bars that would overserve you were, and for hearing what the best and worst dressed hookers were wearing.
