Should have my 1088 tomorrow will give it a try and report my findings back to the group.

Never could get a straight answer but it looks like the only difference between the 1088 and the PSR-800 is the keyboard per the R-R dev that worked on the project. Nothing else new about it apparently. For long term support you obviously want to buy the 1088.

I never had a PSR-800, but with Phase 2 coming to King County in the next couple years, figured I better take the plunge. I really like the Virtual Scanner folders approach, it's easier on my brain :-).
