Is there some slack given to companies that say they're going to be narrowband analog (NFM) and they decide to switch over to say MotoTRBO? Do they have to report this change ASAP or is there some kind of update process they have to go through?

You could start using TRBO as soon as you file for it. Because it is a modulation change, it has to be re coordinated. And since it's TRBO, there are different requirements for adjacent and co channel operation. And pray it's not VHF.

Okay thanks guys. Yeah I'm monitoring TRBO and it's a real challenge to figure out whom the user is on a given frequency...
