I have a website that I would like to provide a feed for certain scanner feeds. On http://www.interceptradio.com/live, at the bottom of the page, it directs site visitors to post a request on the forum, hence this posting.

Specifically, we're interested in the Snohomish County feeds, however, the others available in Washington would be great as well. I have a plugin for our site that will work beautifully, however, we need a url link to the .mp3 file.

I can provide a link to the website, and the specific page that I would like to post the feed to, however, I would rather send that to you in private communications.

Please advise and thank you in advance for your assistance.

Are you wanting to add your own Snohomish County feed? Because if so there is already one that is top notch!

No. Just looking to have a feed player on my site (County Focused website). So, I'm actually trying to figure out what the direct url link to the .mp3 file for the feed that your talking about is. Once I have that, then I can connect a plugin in my site, that will allow a user to play the feed, if they desire.

I'm the one that provides the two Snohomish County Scanner feeds to Intercept.
And if you are asking if you can take the audio from my feeds and put it one your website, the answer is no.
I do not give you permission to do that.

We have. However, we thought it would be a neat feature to have a player / stream option on our site as well. We have a player set up, and everything ready to go. Just need to know the link.

I'll PM you the links so you can see what I'm talking about.

Thanks

Rodent,

Nope, we've never seen your website. Looks cool though. I spent 10 years in the Fire Service (State and Fed - USFS - Shots / and WA DNR Engine Operator). 47. 'eh? Wow, you're pretty far off the beating path. Must have one heck of a tower in your back yard. = )

Admin:

You can close this thread. Appreciate your communications. We've done some basic research, and it appears easy enough to publish our own scanner feed. Might touch base again in the future though.

Have a good night all.
