All day this past Monday there was a huge amount of SAR activity on 154.965. At about 2pm one team reported they had located their subject and he was in grave medical condition. He was extracted by chopper. The lat lon put him a couple of miles west of the Pacific Crest Trail in the Hyas Lake/ Mt Daniel area.

OK, fine. But I cannot find a word about the operation in any news outlets. I can usually smell an exercise, and this smelled like the real thing.
Anyone?

Thanks for the tip. But I don't thinks it's my guy, who was found alive (although barely) and not so far north. My victim was flown to Harborview after a nail-biter of a "hoist." It was a cool intercept and I just wondered what the rest of the story was.
