Has anyone heard any of the 153.xxx MHz freqs licensed to PSE used lately? I see they have renewed all of them in the last month. I have not heard any use of the usual 153.545 in my area. |

I should check 158.130 but 153.635 has been quiet for months now... If they renewed the licenses one might usefully monitor them all and see what pops up on them in the future. |

Nope, I think they have moved to their new MPT system. (Their waiver expires Oct 1st.) I posted a similar question on the PSE MPT thread. I haven't heard them in ages. |

Searched the 153.xxx band today for PSE and nothing heard. Switched to search 217.000 to 218.000 at about 7:30 pm. Locked out data channels and found: (approximate freqs) 217.510 CW ID 217.375 CW ID 217.485 CW ID 217.780 VOICE 217.830 VOICE 217.895 VOICE 217.995 VOICE (ALL WERE SAME VOICES!) Sounds local and is PSE for sure. I am monitoring from Bellingham. Will keep searching that range and report further info. |

Monitoring today I find that 217.830 & 217.995 are both on at the same time with same comms. Suspect 217.830 is the input & 217.995 is the repeater out since 217.995 is stronger in signal. Also noted that 217.780 & 217.895 seem to be a pair with 217.895 being the repeater out. Update: I have programmed my scanners for 217.8975 & 217.9975 and I think I can hear all the local PSE stuff that way. Both sets have the same comms but not at the same time. They use the same vocal IDs that they used on 153.545 here in Whatcom county (North 2). |

The 220 MHz band did not have to be Narrowband Compliant so if you look for frequencies on it for PSE set your scanner up for plain old FM  |
