Stumbled across an obscure little tid-bit today, . . . Lake Cavanaugh, ( in Skagit County ), EXCLUSIVELY uses 155.595 ( 151.4 PL ) as their geo-specific fire dispatch - and also an isolated local repeater on 154.650 ( 110.9 PL ) as their ops freq - known as "FIRE 8". Population there is / was 167 folks per the 2010 CENSUS data. Its a secret little spot shadowed in the foothills - north of Arlington - and just east of Mount Vernon. Nice day trip by car. |
