You guys may not believe this, but I delivered the P.I. to Horizon House and pretty much all the rest of the downtown 50+ years ago.
We LOVED Horizon house because we had a couple hundred papers that we could deliver in about 30 minutes.
Back then that was REALLY profitable.
We would eat at the Doghouse about midnite, then get our papers right off the loading dock, and off we would go for 5 or 6 hours.
They had a WONDERFUL "penthouse" viewing area with telescopes.
Boy this brings back memories.
That was back when Seattle was still pretty safe more like a small town than any kind of city.

My 1st grade teacher lived at Horizon until she passed a few years ago in her mid 90's.

I have several friends of the family who live there now.

And they are a customer.

But no, they are NOT in the "communications business"!

The P.I. did not have the cool Seattle Times Paper Shacks that we used as a clubhouse.

Sounds like they could be in the "communications" business --- if you count selling newspapers to the residents. And I loved my morrning and afternoon newspaper routes.
