Does anyone have any experience with win500? I got it to use on my laptop not too long after getting it. I was able to upload the data from my radio with some help from a young man at Radio Shack, yes, they're good like that sometimes,those crazy kids! :) I've tried to find tutorials to create files, with no luck. I want to create files for my old hometown, and for Gainesville Florida. help! :) |

I do its a great program, I also use Win,96,97. Don Starr the program writer has a good handle on what it needs to control these scanners Via... a computer programing software, its free for 30 days, on my end I use it to back up what I have, so I can do a rewrite on any mistakes that I do by hand, as well as a simple way to write stuff to some of my scanners. Its a great tool. but thats just me, the older I get, I just want a simple way, to do what I want. |

Yes, I use it all the time. In the wiki pages you'll find a bunch of files for Washington and Oregon scanning that I put together. |
