Its sad that many people lack the ability to make their own decisions. If one person can't change the channel, we all get the channel changed for us.

When I was a kid Back in The 60 & 70s The FCC Cencered and Didn't Alow any Fowel Language or any Obsene gestures or Nudity on Tv Most Kids I Knew Back Then Didn't Speak Fowel Language till Jr High or HS now you Hear it From 5-6 Year olds. Now I Know Alot of times they Pick That up from Other People but a fair Amount of Time its Picked up From Tv or The Internet. you Cant Always Keep an eye on The kids 24/7 They Need to be Taught Right From Wrong.But Haveing This stuff on Tv in my Veiw Just Complicates The Matter, :roll:

One of the national morning "news" ( and I use the term loosely) shows ran a story abou the V Chip. Some politicain claiming that the V Chip could help parents screen their kids tv. Nothing like technology to look after your kids, so you don't have to.

If you live in a country with all of these freedoms and choices, you also have the responsibilty to monitor and be accountable for those choices.

Pretty simple....

I am against censorship. However I am also against idiots like Howard Strean. Good Judgement should be used by everyone. The FCC was not designed to be the censor of the airwaves. The NAB and broadcasters themselves MUST take resposiblity for their actions. Should they get fined. NO ! Take away the radio or TV station license. If you want to yell fire - its up to you. I do not need to listen nor DO I have to give you a forum. The radio waves belong to the PUBLIC and the FCC must deside whom gets to use the channels or frequency. They do NOT have to allow someone the soap box to stand on. It would be BEST just to take away the channel -- if the public is NOT being served. This APPLIES to ALL stations. Does Seattle NEED 5 Spanish radio stations ?
