After about 10 years of NOT having a scanner, and using nothing but commercial equipment (needed to access the agency's systems I was working for), I actually bought a scanner... I no longer need to access commercial/PS systems, so I can just be nosy for now....

I feel dirty.

I'm already trying to get used to the crappy audio.. Nooooooo

I had to re-arrange some stuff.. but it's not too bad....

I'm keeping the 5/8ths wave in the truck for when I need a bit extra range, just jump on the roof and swap the antenna..

Nice looking install!

Is the center console a manufacturered product, or is this something that you custom made yourself?

Yeah I like the clean install for the BCT-15. It looks good. I wish mine was that clean.

Like you, I installed my BCT-15 in the 2nd available DIN.

Took me a while however to figure out that the outer shell of the BCT-15 comes off and THEN it will fit correctly in the DIN.

Nope. ISO mount, but looks the same.

You need a double - single ISO kit.

ISO uses screws with bracket. DIN uses cage.

;)

the front plate doesn't come off, making the front DIN instead of ISO, which is why you'll see it's partially recessed.. :(
