I picked up a Uniden BC278CLT today at Goodwill for $2, anyone have some feedback on this scanner? I don't have the 10 V A/C adapter to make it run, so I don't even know if it works. Anyone have an adapter for sale or that I could try out? It looks to be in excellent condition. I stopped by Radio Shack in Monroe. They have an A/C adapter that runs 10.2 V that should work for $20 plus then I have to buy the matching plug. Another $7 bucks. I've dug through all my A/C adapter power supplies and can't find anything close. I'd like to know if the darn thing works before I order the stock power adapter. ($15) Can anyone help me out? |

I found an adapter and the scanner fired right up and is scanning away as I type. Working like a champ!.....My $1.99 scanner is a winner. I also found a Realistic Pro 50 for $3.99 with the ac/dc adapter that's working great too. It's only a 10 chnl 3 band programmable, so I can't get too greedy. :D |
