I just received my GRE PSR-310 last night - but didn't have a long time to spend with it. I was able to figure out the controls pretty easily. The LCD screen is really sharp. Very crisp and easy to read. Prefer it over the Uniden.
Need some advice on object arrangement.
On my old 396XT, I would set up say #1 bank with one of the KC sites (e.g. 868.175) then add TGID entries for as many as possible - usually the most frequent TGIDs. My #9 bank would be set up for EPSCA and KC sites but I would only "scan" my local (frequently-used) TGIDs around the Eastside. This was a nice set up for me because I was 'searching' the system - and not scanning TGIDs only. If I wanted to search any other KC site, I could just pop that in CC frequency and the TGID entries were still valid. (Multi-site, imho, never worked that well on the Unidens -- it would always stay on EPSCA and never switch to Columbia Tower.)
So what's the ideal strategy for the PSR scanners with regarding to trunking - specifically our KC system..?
