Okay, so I just picked up the GRE PSR-310 scanner. Yes, it's not digital but I miss having a handheld trunking scanner. I have a RS Pro-90 but it's hard to remember TGIDs for various systems - old age setting in I guess. :D This will be my first GRE scanner. What's the best programming software for the GRE scanners? From the screenshots I've seen, the Win500 software looks nice and they seem to update it regularly. The ARC### products look "okay" but their software seems very basic. I think you get more for your money from the Win500 software. Any comments on either? Any other programs to look at? PS. I'll post a short review of the PSR-310 when it comes in. It'll be interesting since I haven't had the full GRE experience yet! 8) |

I'm using the Win97 product for my PSR-300, and Win500 for my PSR-500 scanner.... I'm happy with both but love the 500 program. Either way pm me and I'll send you my files if you are in the Seattle area. |
