Anyone regularly look at the ducting forecast maps?---> http://www.dxinfocentre.com/tropo_wam.html This coming week looks more promising than the last year total. |

VHF is borderline hot right now. I just did a SEA -> EUG & back today, and had really good FM broadcast, above average. |

Monday looks great for 2m SSB to Hawaii even. Map looked something like that (but with less inland penetration) when I did it a few years back. Thought something was up when I couldn't hear the Kh6HME beacon, so tuned around a bit and heard KH6HME! After he completed his QSO with California I called and subsequently worked him. WA7SKT was listening inland from Hoquiam and heard nothing from Hawaii but Paul was S-5 on my rig parked on the beach West of Ocean Shores... Eric KB7DQH |
