I have a old wireless microphone on 207Mhz and they are complaining of issues. I went to take a look at it and when I opened up the squelch, it was getting almost a data burst in a alternating patern. I have serched the FCC ULS and after a few pages I still havent seen anything on 207 but lots of trunked 220Mhz. Would 220 be steping on it? Or is some railroad stuff not listed? I know there is nothing I can do to fix the microphone since its a fixed frequancy I just need to be ableto tell them the "why" and justify me selling them a new 600Mhz wireless. |

207mhz would be in the middle of TV channel 12 (204-210mhz). A lot of commercial wireless mics used frequencies between a TV channels video and audio carrier. Now that TV is digital the entire 6mhz channel is used. Strange thing is... There is no US licensed station on channel 12 in the Seattle area. Closest thing I could find was a pending application. |

I think the KVOS-12 digital transmitter is on UHF channel 35. |

Yeah I saw the B-Ham channel but with out a RF TV had no way to verify that in fact what I was getting. I did see some stuff in Google searches of other forums about speculation that the B-Ham channel was going to broadcast in the Seattle area too but could not find much to back that up. |

You can look it up here: http://www.fcc.gov/mb/video/tvq.html Search Washington State for TV channel 12. There is one new application for the Seattle area. Our database has TV stations but we haven't found a need to track TV applications at this point. |
