Post subject:  Emission Designators

On a newer FCC license for Klamath County, Oregon we see an emission designator of:
7K60FXE and 7K60FXD (? - Mototrbo)

Query, even though scanners cannot decode this type of emission, what would it sound like and what are the capabilities of the Motorola radios? Can they be used both as data and voice (KDT/MDT)?

As for the data and voice question... I can ask but I remember the answer being yes, but with data using one channel stream, and audio the other...

Problem with these is they cannot be used on splinter channels without causing issues to the surrounding frequencies. Its wideband with two channel streams... people trying over here are causing major issues for those around them...
