Morning, sir... Have you registered http://www.flightaware.com ? You can see when flight plans are filed. I set it up to send me alerts for BOE1 BOE2 BOE811 and BOE89. I received alerts to my cellfone within the last hour that BOE1 and BOE2 just filed flight plans with the FAA to Moses Lake. I will look for the 747-800 Monday AM and will be streaming on the live audio site here (it says Western WA military traffic) but I added the Boeing flight test freqs (VHF and not HF) to the stream. |

Dennis, is there a set frequency? It's been interesting listening to the 787 testing. |

123.475 and 123.425 are the ones the 777 has been using most frequently. I think we should ask Brian in Moses Lake if he could stream the freqs. In the pilot community, the big issue is when they start the high-speed flutter tests of those composite wings. And they most likely will do that over E Wash because of the population density issue in W Wash if there were to be a catastrophic accident. I'm not sure if Boeing posts a schedule of what sequence they are doing the flight testing. |

The window is suppose to be about 10AM. If ZA1 and ZA2 are up flying too, you might search between 136 and 137. 123.425 isn't a Flight Test freq! |

TMF, I'm a bit confused about two items you mentioned. I hear Boeing traffic on 123.425 and see it licensed to Boeing at the FCC database. Please elaborate. I've noticed the reference to ZA1 and ZA2 before but not sure of the context. When I use FlightAware web site, they are listed as BOE1 and BOE2 for flight tracking purposes. Thanks. Matt--sorry about Boe811...got confused. |

1st flight delayed up to 2 hours past 10:10AM original flight plan. Been hearing the captain talking on 123.325. KPAE socked in with 400 foot ceiling, but I'm in the sun 12 miles east at 350 feet. Traffic also on SERS Paine Ops 1 and Ops 2. I will go to Alerts when the 747-8F is getting ready to take off. You can then heart streaming audio on the new stream named Western Washington Military Traffic. My brother, who works for Boeing, tells me they no longer refer to it as 747-800 He just told me minutes ago ~ "With the intro of the 787, Boeing started dropping the "00" off the dash number designations. Don't know why but they did. For example, the baseline 787 is the 8 and the stretch version is the 9. They even want to eliminate the "dash" when referring to the 787 models... but the new 747s are being called the "dash 8F" and the " dash 8 (Intercontinental)". |

I love it! At 10:29AM, Paine Tower asked Chopper 7 if they had any more up-to-date info on where the dash 8F would take off! Chopper 7 says it is clear all over except over Paine Field. |

When did 747-8F take off? I'm up by Pilchuck mtn topping and hearing first flight take off and testing of 501 on 123.325 the past couple hours. Heard some thing loud fly east over me about 11:15am, so I must have just missed it. :( Clearing out and it's gorgeous up here today. Big puffy white clouds with t-shirt weather. Too nice out to be playing radio!..... :D |

This shot over Port Townsend. There was some venting of gas on landing at Boeing.
