| Post subject: | SyFy Channel "Ghost Hunters" radios ? |
Has anyone figured out if the radios used on the show are licensed? They sometime look like UHF and sometime like VHF by looking at their antennas. They are based in Rhode Island and I have not been able to find any info on a license. Maybe rentals or motion picture filming freqs? They are called TAPS for The Atlantic Paranormal Society. Grant Wilson and Jason Hawes are the main guys. |

haha I did only because I was too lazy to change the channel after dirty jobs one day I noticed the same thing, know what I think? they overlay audio and they arnt actually using the radios. I couldnt make it thru one whole show but I did notice the odd use of radios. the part where I started yelling at the tv was when they were video taping a "ghost" and the video went fuzzy. I didnt know new age digital equipment was capable of static. or any digital equipment for that matter. |

They talk to each other not the ghosts :D There is another show on Syfy called "Destination Truth" that uses radios. You can see interference on the nightmode cameras when they key the radios so I don't believe they are faking and dubbing the transmissions. I can't stand most of the crappy shows on regular network TV. Unless it shows something related to radios :D |
