I was in Newberg earlier today but haven't switched their tg over to the WCCCA bank yet. I also made a call on the P25 machine but no one answered

Oh, I have a portable on the P25 machine usually weeknights; give me a call on there.

I would go hop on now, but I have lost my voice thanks to the cold I have....

Oh the places I've been. 19 was a long time ago....

I'm 21 now and still active in the FD. Still work for the Family Fun Center, but have upgraded to a TK-2302 and have been promoted to Shift Manager.

By now I've decided on a career path -- something to do with Public Safety/Service Communications. I really want Dave Brush's job. I've enrolled in J.M. Perry Techincal Institue here in Yakima where I live, and am half-way through the Information Technology and Communication Systems course. By the time I'm done I'll have experience in board-level repair work, almost anything and everything to do with radio communications, CompTIA, CCNA, multi-line telephone systems and low-voltage alarm systems. I am | | <--that close to taking my techican class amateur radio test and am very much looking forward to doing that and putting is on my resume. I've also done a lot of researching and frequency hunting here in the area and am a wealth of information on anything to do with public safety here in the valley.

I've also added a few radios. I now own and operate: 4 PRO-2055's, TK-8180, TK-7180, TK-2180, TK-2170, TK-2302, TK-3170, PRO-97, TK-780 and a PRO520XL. I like Kenwood.

When I'm not doing any of the above, I spend time with my lovely girlfriend who also is enrolled here at Perry in the Medical Office Administration, Billing and Coding course. We'll be done in September and December of 2011 and are unsure where out lives will take us from there.

I very much enjoy this site and the wealth of information contained here. The site admin is a great guy as well as moderators and other key members here. It's a great place that I have no intent on leaving.

Massive necrobump for the n00bs here...

Wil is still in King/Pierce Counties, still have those aforementioned radios, still listening to oddball things day and night. I may not know/care about all the ins and outs of listening to Tacoma PD, but I can sure as heck point you in the right direction for the wireless remote doorbell at the (redacted) lobby doors...

Shit man...way to dig up an old post.

Ha! 21 was a long time ago now! I'm 25, married, one baby, built a house, in communications as a career. Still have all of those radios and then some. Yea....

I picked up a TK2180 recently to replace the TK280 which I'm going to sell soon.
