I have never loaded a V file. I tried to once and would rather replace a head gasket.

Same here. The head gasket much easier to deal with.

The PSR500 is pretty damn complicated. I remember I grabbed yours once looking for the tune function and ended up handing it back and making you do it.

Yeh, I think I had it set for "adult mode" Image

Is that sarcasm? Or that other thing?

BTW, I tried using Win500 tonight. I downloaded, extracted it, and tried to run it, but it just keeps popping up a message that my temporary key is expired. WTF?

Have you ever downloaded it before?

If so it may not let you do it again and work.

I talked to George tonight and let him know we are coming down.

Using PSREdit, with the scanner attached to the computer, select Radio -> Enter V-Scanner Mode. Then click Load Presets button, then New, then for each new scanner bank you want preserved, right click on that line of the list and select "Modify V-Scanner" and navigate to each .bin file you want to have preserved in your scanner. I suggest your normal files (king county is mine) be in v scanner bank 1, then your other files in the other banks.

If using Win500, select Scanner -> Virtual Scanner, then click "Load Config" and similar to above, specify your .p500 files (or edit the text file I pm'd to you) and then click "Commit" and all the virtual scanner banks will be written to your scanner.

With a little setup, this is a really nifty feature of the PSR-500 scanner. I use it all the time as I travel around.

OK, Dog helped me out via the phone and computer. I'm stoked.

There was quite a learning curve to get this done, but now I know how, this V-folder thing is really cool.

Thanks Dog!
