If anyone out there is interested - there is a nice Zello group for hams and general radio enthusiasts from all over the world
Its just called "cb radio" without the quotes
I think its run by a group called WWARG or something like that
You dont need to be a licensed ham or anything
No password needed
Just be respectful - no cursing and whatnot

To the mods - i apologize if we arent allowed to advertise groups and whatnot
I just thought it would be of interest to people here
The group is always welcome to newcomers

Another channel run by the same group is called "WWARG-Hub"
But a valid ham license is needed for that channel

Since this post the WWARG-Hub channel has been closed
The CB Radio channel is still active

Zello is a bit specific when it comes to the channel names
The capitalization does not matter as much but the spacing does(for example "channel 1" would be a different channel than "channel1") -
