I don't see anything like that at the moment. Someone has a demo unit up for auction. It's just over $100 with just under a day left.

I pre-ordered from buytwowayradio.com. First one TX'ed and Rx'ed but none of the buttons worked. Contacted them and after almost 2 weeks (due to shipping time from SC) next one arrived in pristine working order.

I've noticed that the scan is indeed horrendous (scanning ~14 analog VHF frequencies) but you have to consider the radio.... I have used it on the http://www.trbo.org/pnw/index.html repeater in Ellensburg and the audio quality was surprisingly very good. Other operator said he was using a MD380.
