It's going to be very interesting listening Tue/Wed/Thur AM. President of China will arrive at Paine on Tue AM and then the rest of the day at the Westin with all streets within 3 blocks will be closed for the 2 1/2 days. Wed he's Boeing Everett to Microsoft to Tacoma and back to the Westin - three counties of WSP crazy. Everyone will be on their radios. I can't remember if head's of state are covered by the service or state - thinking it's state. I'm guessing that his protection from home will be using the latest Baofeng radios:)

"Hottest Listening In Years" We have had some good listening in recent past! Oso Mudslide, Marysville Shooting, July 4th, recent windstorm in Aug. So I would have to disagree with that statement.

So my Brother works at JBLM and an unscheduled flight landed at McChord field, a Y-20 aircraft caring about 50 Asian looking individuals with lots of cargo on board. Could be related?

I always wondered how foreign heads of states security comms mesh with other countries bandplans...or do they just say the hell with it and go with what they have.
