Am I the only one listening? King5's news this morning showed a shot of some of the 200 from JBLM headed to E WA with back-pack radios and 3ish foot antennas coming from the bottom of the back-pack. Freq's please Wil? I have a big list from the 3 huge E. WA fires decade or so ago, somewhere in the forums, but I can't remember the Subject name:)

Are we able to hear anything from this side of the pass? I wouldn't think we'd hear much activity over here.

Mark, those are likely portable UHF SATCOM antenna of some kind. Trivec makes a lot of the US military kits which pack up quite nicely.
