The first Command Officer on the scene of the SR525 fires is normally a pretty cool operator. The stress level in his voice was apparent - it was going to be a big deal.
They did a good job. Potentially, three buildings could have been burned down. They stopped all three exposures, with little/no damage to buildings.
Not too shabby for a volunteer department, during the week, leading up to a holiday weekend.
