Radio Shack has 2 new scanners on their web site. PRO-651 & PRO-652.

The PRO-651 is the same scanner as the PRO-106 was and price is $399.

PRO-652 is the same scanner as the PRO-197 with $399 price.

Manuals have been redone and look better than the originals.

Both scanners look exactly like the originals. The only question is will the V Scanner files be updated?

The WIN500 site can be used to program these scanners.

They are in stock online but not in stores yet. :beer:

My local RS has all 4 of the new RS scanners made by Whistler in stock.

The new model of the PRO-106 & PRO-197 look exactly the same as the old models.

There is nothing installed in the V scanner files.

Interesting - but -- Radio shack no longer has any repair stations for scanners. Radio Shack is no longer standing behind the radios that it sells.
