Your kidding right? They just built out a new simulcast radio system which seems to work quite well.

I heard they're building it with full AES, and it's going to tie into that new 4-site VHF Moneyrola Astro 7.14 trunking system that's going into the Copalis National Wildlife Refuge.

The new simulcast system, is the Harbor Dispatch Center now dispatching all fire calls on one channel vs the numerous channels they have been using? Have they kept law enforcement on different frequencies by geographic area or established a dispatch channel?

The entry re a 700mhz trunked system. Is that pretty firm? Given the terrain of Grays Harbor County I would think a trunked system would be extremely difficult to accomplish especially from the Copalis Beah/Crossing area. I believe that is where they said it would be.
