On both Sunday the 9th and Monday the 10th, I was able to hear multiple fire call tone-outs from the eastern time zone on 33.9000 MHz., possibly from the state of Ohio. Lasted a couple hours.

It must be all over the place then. Friday night I was trying to listen to AM1580 for the City's Lahar Warning System to see if it was still active; it was being drowned out by KGAL out of Lebanon, OR...Though I was less than 2 miles from Puyallup's transmitter.

A buddy of mine told me Monday he was getting the remote pickup (RP) on 25.99 mhz from radio station KSCS out of Ft Worth, TX. Didn't even think about checking higher up the band! Most of the summer, in the late afternoon and early evening, he was hearing the RP from WBAP, also in Ft Worth, on 25.91 mhz.

I'm hearing some fire tone outs on 33.9. Too faint to copy a callsign. Nice to see lowband skip lasting past 3pm.
